Saturday morning found us at the base of Bennachie (a hill - the highest point in this region - with ancient religious significance and evidence of goddess worship) at 8AM thanks to my incessant need to locate pussy willow (which they call "goat willow" here) for next year's Hieros Gamos / Easter celebrations. (I have a whole folder of images, but I'm set on typing up that Chocolate Espresso Cake recipe so our foray into the woods will have to wait until later.)
